Glue feathers to a bird-shaped paper and cotton balls to a lamb-shaped paper
Masks
Cut out eye holes in a paper plate and have your child decorate it. Glue a popcicle stick to the bottom or tie a string on the edges to tie around the head.
Flower Arrangement
Place flower foam in an old bowl or container and have fun arranging fake flowers with your little artist.
Cards
Make a card for Dad when he gets home. Provide your child with stickers and cut-outs of different shapes and sizes and let him express himself. Help him write a message for Dad as well!
Snow!
Glue cotton balls on blue paper to create snow flakes. You can create a house or tree out of construction paper and glue pieces of cotton on the roof and branches.
Airplanes
Cut out small airplanes from colored construction paper, and provide markers for your child to decorate them. Paste them, along with cotton balls for clouds, on a blue piece of paper.
Rain!
Cut out a sun and clouds for your child. Have her glue the sun to a blue paper, then demonstrate how the clouds come in and cover the sun (then glue them down). Create streaks of glue coming down from the clouds and explain how rain comes from clouds, and have them sprinkle glitter on the glue. Next, make some flowers grow from all the rain and have your child glue pom-poms on the stems.
Spring Flowers
Cut slits into the rim of a paper plate and fold them slightly to create petals of a flower. Have your child decorate the flower with paint and glittler, and glue a pre-cut stem and leaf to the leaf. You may need to glur it all to a piece of paper.
Lillies
Trace your hand on a piece of paper and cut it out. Curl each finger around a pencil, then gather the bottom and tape it to a straw or a pipe cleaner. Make a colorful bouquet!
